Hello authors! Thank you so much for stopping by my website. When I started Life On Books, my mission was simple: help spread the joy of reading and the empowerment of literacy. A big part of that mission is highlighting lesser known authors, books, booksellers, and publishers.
However, as my audience grew online, one thing became very clear: it’s impossible to keep up with all of the books that are sent to me, even if by shouting your book out in a quick “book mail” video.
On a weekly basis I receive anywhere from 10-20 books, unsolicited, in my mailbox, often times in genres that I don’t read much of, or at all.
Ultimately, if your book is a fantasy, self help, or another genre that I don’t really cover on my channels, sharing it with my audience isn’t going to do much to help your book get connected to the right readers.
The best way for you to promote your book is by building your own audience. I’m currently working on a resource for authors to do just that. If you want more information, please fill out the form below.
